2024 Mexican Grand Prix: All Set for the Race

The 2024 Mexican Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, October 27, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. The race will be broadcast on pay television and through streaming on Fox Sports, Fox Sports 3, Fox Sports Premium, and F1 TV. Additionally, as it is the Mexican Grand Prix, it can be watched for free on Channel Five (TUDN).

Since the return of the race in 2015, several drivers have triumphed at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, including Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. The starting grid for the 2024 Mexican Grand Prix will be led by Carlos Sainz (Ferrari), followed by Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and Lando Norris (McLaren). Sergio 'Checo' Pérez will start from the ninth row after a difficult qualifying session where he faced issues with his car's braking system.

After a complicated qualifying, Pérez Mendoza will seek to minimize damages in the race on Sunday. Despite the results outside the podium in previous races, the Mexican driver faces the challenge of reaching at least the Top 10. With Red Bull and Mercedes dominating since 2015, Pérez faces strong competition, especially with McLaren on the rise this season.

Previous winners of the Mexican Grand Prix include Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, and Max Verstappen. Verstappen leads in victories in Mexico, followed by Hamilton. The uncertainty lies in whether the Mexican Red Bull driver can make it to the podium in the race in his home country and with his people, challenging the dominance of Red Bull and Mercedes on the circuit for several years.
